Shipping Rates & Fees

Shipping rates are dynamic and calculated based on several factors to ensure fairness for both customers and riders.

Distance-Based Pricing

Local deliveries within 5km start at KES 150. Rates increase incrementally based on the total distance from the vendor's shop to your delivery address.

Dynamic Bidding

For long-distance or peak-hour deliveries, our system uses a real-time bidding process to match you with the most affordable available rider.

Estimated Delivery Timelines

Delivery times begin from the moment the vendor confirms the order and prepares the package.

Vendors are responsible for ensuring that all items are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. SafariBid provides guidelines to vendors for fragile items. If you receive an item that appears to have been poorly packaged, please document it immediately.

Security & Insurance

Every delivery facilitated by a SafariBid verified rider is insured against theft or loss during transit. Our riders undergo a rigorous verification process, including background checks and training, to ensure your packages are in safe hands.
